Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership - a joint-working initiative comprising all 12 local authorities in the West of Scotland, in association with Strathclyde Police and Transport Scotland. The Safety Camera Partnership operates at 131 safety camera (speed and traffic signal enforcement) sites throughout the West of Scotland area. It aims by deterrent effect to reduce the number of crashes caused by drivers speeding or going through red lights at locations where there has been a history of personal injury crashes involving these driving behaviours.
