Local Areas - Safety cameras in the West of Scotland
Safety cameras in the West of Scotland are operated through the Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership, whose members comprise all the local authorities in the West of Scotland, in association with Strathclyde Police and Transport Scotland. It is one of eight safety camera partnerships in Scotland funded by the Scottish Safety Camera Programme, a personal injury crash/casualty reduction initiative sponsored by the Justice Department of the Scottish Government.
In 2010, safety camera enforcement takes place at 131 safety camera sites in the West of Scotland. For further detailed information please visit strathclydecameras.com
