Vehicles driven in the course of business are statistically over represented in the accident figures throughout Scotland. This is true for company owned vehicle and also for drivers using their own cars for company business. It is estimated that up to a third of all vehicle crashes involve somebody who was at work at the time. This may account for over 20 fatalities and 200 serious injuries every week.
